Oh what fun it is to pretend like you don't have studying to do. Hey!

My first final is on FRIDAY. NOT pushed back to Monday like my Professor said it would most likely be - Friday, this week. Nice "psych" my once-favorite professor Hurwit! I have a paper due Friday. Sure it's a tiny little paper but... whine, whine, whine *whimper, whimper*.
I had a quiz today, I have a quiz tomorrow (8 am - ugh) and I have 3 midterms next week. For that reason it is actually a pretty good idea to get this one over with sooner. But everyone wants to have dinner with me and I have to keep saying "No, no, no, no, I don't think so". And what I REALLY want to do is vacuum, wash, organize and repair things around the house while I listen to Harry Potter books on tape (again) and the soundtrack to Broadway's Les Miserables. And maybe write some blog posts.
So what I'm doing now is writing a post, listening to Harry Potter and preparing to vacuum the dining room - I know, no self-control.

Here are some pictures of my Christmas decorations this year that I never posted.

Those are the ornaments the Bandstra's made us, hanging from the heart on our door.
I love them, they are in the big closet now and the whole place smells like spices.

I made the banner from an old, torn-up book I bought. I don't love flimsy, "crafty" things but you can get away with them on the holidays, eh?
We spent Christmas in St. Helen's so there was no reason to go all out. But it's a start.
I love my little home.

I didn't even recognize those ornaments as the ones we made until you said they were! They look really nice hanging there with the heart shaped wreath.
