How I waste my time.

pre-script: Do I inhale and choke on Grape-Nuts every time I eat them?
Actually these are Kashi's "7 Whole Grain Nuggets" which, let's face it, is a much better name... I don't think they taste as good though.

script: I feel like I got jipped! (I'm intentionally spelling it this way because the other way is naughty, but I decided not to lie about the fact that I use that word. And, I mean, growing up in this day and age who knew?) But, ingrained racism aside (as it usually is), I feel like I got ripped off.

OK. Did I start this off too heavy? Let's start again.

Does anyone else feel like Winter didn't happen this year? I need my bones to be thoroughly chilled before all this Spring nonsense starts up again. OK, I don't think it's nonsense. You got me! Spring is my second favorite season (after Fall) but you know what it leads to? HUH!? SUMMER! That's right! My LEAST favorite season.
It is TOO FREAKING HOT ALL OF THE FREAKING TIME.
And now I live through it with Tom who handles it even worse than I do. I grew up in California and Southern Oregon (it gets hotter in S. Oregon), Tom grew up in Northern Oregon. It gets hot there too but that's not really the point. Tom has very sensitive skin and sweat and heat are mortal enemies to this man - especially heat.
As for me, I'm claustrophobic and don't like the idea of breathing in muggy air and moving sluggishly - whew! I'm short of breath just thinking about it.
But really it's not that, I just like to talk about my affliction, it's really that heat all the time isbloody uncomfortable. You can't wear proper clothes, you can't sit on furniture, you can't touch your loved ones, you really should avoid moving.

Enough of this, I'm depressing myself. Oh! But P.S. I hate the sun. Did you know that? I am a vampire (Oh man, a claustrophobic vampire - nightmare of nightmares... actually, mummy would be worse... No. They're dead. Vampire's worse.)
Whew! *Breathe* I'm getting cremated (should the Lord tarry) for multiple reasons but that's one of them.

Dust to dust.

THAT actually was less depressing that talking about Summer.

My point here was, at some point, that it did not get cold enough this year to justify it getting hot again. Or even warm! Where is the cold?
On top of being a claustrophobic, and a vampire, I also have hot appendages. My feet and hands get overly hot (just as Tom's get overly cold) and I literally have to soak them in near freezing water to remedy the problem. Actually, this hasn't happened it years I think, but I live in constant (not really) fear of it! It's so uncomfortable and it usually happens at night and then I have to get out of bed and soak my feet for a VERY long time. Cogito ergo sum I feel short changed.

Oh! And I've always hated showing my feet (sandals) and shaving my legs (all summer clothes).
I better blasted learn to swim this summer or I'm flying north.

I don't really hate the Sun but I feel for it as I do for certain relatives. You love them, you are SO happy to see them, but after a couple days... You're asking them if they need a ride to the station, quite frankly, and who can blame you?

I tried to cut my hair like this yesterday:
but without the bangs. It's similar. My hair is thicker than Kirsten Dunst's (my hairdresser told me that) but has the same waviness.
I was actually pretty glad I didn't go for the exact look (I chickened out with the hair started flying) because I saw it un-styled and she didn't look so cutesy. So, I have much less hair now, thank goodness, but it's as big as ever, if you're wondering.

Not blonde though. Ho hum.

I want to bid on the platform Vans of my dreams (since 7th grade!) on Ebay. I wonder what Tom with think/say/agree to?

So much work to do today. But girls just want to have fun.
Alright! I'm going, I'm going!

Post script: Tom and I have known each other (in person) 5 years this Saturday. We were so instantly smitten.

I so agree with you! We need some cold weather before we get to spring.

And as for the hot weather, I completely agree with you! I could do without it. When it's cold out, you can always put on more clothes. Or cuddle with someone. But when it's hot out, what's person to do? Go around naked? Pack myself in ice? Ugh! Nice moderate temperatures, that's what I like.
