Shorn for Spring

I got the first haircut of my marriage the other day. This is how often I get my hair cut. So I decided to go for the glory and cut it all off. It's much too crazy to be allowed to run amok anyway.

I brought this picture of the supermodel Agyness Deyn's haircut as inspiration.

Fresh from the ba'ba':

(Actually I go to a fancy salon where they massage your head with oil... once every two years.)

This is what it looked like after I slept on it. Tommy took me out to breakfast to show off our androgyny. Highlighted all the more against a backdrop of pictures of Marilyn Monroe and Elvis. (Though, he did wear quite a few sequins in his day)

And then the occasion called for self-portraits for the Facebook crowd.

As for the 'do: I like it. Tom likes it. He's really cute about it. He's really cute about everything.

I'm going to make sure the stew is ready before he gets here.
