That orange chair

Look at the progress I've made!

I actually haven't worked on the chairs in a while, this has been long done. But I've progressed to taking pictures!

This is the once-orange Thonet chair, covered in the fabric from the dollar bin at Econo Sales. All wood pieces sanded clean.

This is that ratty corner, now carefully folded (not stretched) to avoid future rattiness.

This is a similarly folded corner of the seat:

I love this color: grey. I know.

I can't wait to refinish the wood and kiss this project goodbye. To screw in those slightly stripped and irreplaceable, because ridiculously sized, screws as if they will never be unscrewed again!

But I'm still deliberating on stains... I won't get into it, I guess...
