Away to go

I was on such a roll with my blog posts, I was engaged with my blog and my camera most days. Blogging regularly was giving me a different perspective on the material world around me, the everyday things that were happening. I tend to live in my head and my head tends to live in the clouds and blogging was bringing me down to earth a little bit. (Without the inconvenience of leaving my apartment or talking to people.) But you know what's down there; on Earth? Viruses!
Specifically, in this case, computer viruses.

Tom can fix it, he always does, but he doesn't have the time. Monday-Saturday he was too busy working and on Sunday we were too way too busy doin' nothin' at all.

Tom had been so tired from all his working and his never sleeping and I was feeling a little tired myself, I guess just from my crazy, see-Tom schedule (though one night this week I did fall asleep before he got home). I decided the best thing to do was to avoid all chores (our usual Sunday grocery shopping, cooking, doing dishes, etc.) and eat out!

May I recommend Jiffy Market's cheese and bacon fries?
I will also recommend, again, Noodle N Thai, though, they were closed so we went to Chao Pra Ya instead. Between these blessed meals we watched two movies, and another one when we got home. Directly after dinner, however, since we were already in Eugene I requested that Tom take me somewhere; anywhere. So he took me to Skinner Butte and we looked out onto the city and all the lights you never think of when you're down amongst the buildings and trees.

It was a wonderful day.
I really miss him when he's at work but, what's worse, I think I've gotten used to being without him.

It does make seeing him pretty thrilling though.

Someone Tom knows with season basketball tickets is out of town this week so I'll be going with my boy to our first game in a long time in the brand-spanking-new Matthew Knight Arena. I'm pretty excited.

As for the blog, pictures and consistent writing will have to wait until my computer's back in business. I am writing in the sweet little library we Architecture and Allied Arts students try to keep our secret. But I must get back to studying.

Happy February! The month that brings Valentines day, Tom's and my first-date anniversary, our first-kiss anniversary, my (25th!) birthday and midterms!
