Day twelve

I'm having a hard time with my challenge. I'm having a hard time being motivated in general. For the past few days the plan has been to clean this apartment top to bottom but as it turns out I'm barely home. Lane is house-sitting down the street at our friends' house and I have preferred to spend the lazy days - post-finals, (almost) post-sickness - on the couch or at the kitchen table with my best friend, watching movies, making food, playing cards and loving on our friends' sweet dog.
Today Tom and I are being equally lazy after a wonderful morning in the church nursery.
So, you can image that I'm having a difficult time in narrowing down the things I love. The pink rose Tom bought me when I was sick is already starting to wilt (it seems its beauty was contingent on my illness) so I waited too long for a picture of it; Maggie-dog is too far from my camera at the moment, the weather is nice and cool but visually unimpressive and I'm trying my best not to post pictures of Tom everyday.
So instead of what I love about right now here are some older photos as a means of inspiration now that I'm feeling better, have spare time and Spring is here.

Something I love: making something perfect in the kitchen.

Here is hoping tomorrow brings some of this, some cleaning, the requisite blog post but also some more doin' nothing.

It's Spring break after all.

I hope you're enjoying it.
