My incredible husband... uh! I was having a badish sort of day yesterday, as you will know if you read any of my many posts. But when Tom got home late last night after a grueling day of work he was carrying in each hand as many flowers as they could hold.
Assuming that he got them from some event I was please but not overly joyful. I started putting them in vases and wondering at their outdoorsy appearance. They were beautiful! And smelled even better than they looked, but they were definitely not typical event fare. They were too fresh; too wild and sweet.
Well, as it turns out, they weren't from an event. Tom had sent out the order to his whole crew, to different trucks going to different sites, to collect flowers for his wife. At the end of the night he collected what they'd brought back and he and his right-hand-man gathered them into two beautiful bouquets.
I further divided them and put them everywhere!
Aside from the absolute ecstasy of having daffodils, tulips, hyacinths and blossoming branches everywhere I look, and the smell that is filling up even the office, (where I've put no flowers, yet) the thought of Tom contriving and putting into action this plan is just too wonderful.
Thank you so much, My Love. I can't tell you what all you do means to me.
