My baby sister turned 23(!!) a couple of days ago! I have scattered Amelia's birthday wishes across the month of May this year. She is too busy enjoying her wonderful life to notice, I'm sure. So here is a belated tribute to the girl I love: the strong and vibrant mother of incredible children; the mature but cheeky wife of an adoring husband; maybe the funniest and savviest person I know; the torchbearer of Grandma Humphrey's genes; and usually only like the third biggest pain-in-my-backside at any given time.
Amelia, you inspire me with your love for, and devotion to, family, and your glorification of a simple life. You amaze me with your strength and your capacity to accept and forgive; not to mention the things you come up with that make me laugh.
