Today I am thinking of the people in my family who have aided our country with their military service. And all but my Grandpa Patterson are still with me. I am thankful for that, and for them.
I found this picture today while on the hunt for some others. This is me at the tail-end of my honeymoon at a party for my dad who was about to leave for active duty (for the first time in my life) in Kuwait.
There ain't no doubt we love this land and we are so thankful for all of the brave Americans who have been called over time to defend her. May they never fall in vain.
