Something ventured, nothing gained.

In an attempt to keep myself on track yesterday, to get somethings done, like... I don't know... school work: that pesky little detail standing between me and life-long academic freedom, I decided to document my day with photos every hour or so to encourage me to make progress (and then show it off). At this point I'm sure I need hardly say that I failed pretty spectacularly, even in taking pictures. But you know what? I did have a pretty nice day.
My inspiring morning scene.
My first attempt at productivity: sorting laundry.
My second success: a trip to the post office to send off a package to Amelia & Co. and pick up some stamps with cute illustrations.
My most consistent work all day, eating my way steadily through this pan of potatoes.
Changed the ink. Good.
Uh oh. Starting to go off the rails. Put on Dr. Katz while folding laundry.
Laundry can wait. I need a nap.
Now I need a pick-me-up: coffee and carbohydrates.

Hey! Where's the rest of the pictures?! Yeah... it was never going to work out. And it's noon now and I've managed to eat some eggs and bacon and read all about a Winnebago restoration. Tom and I have been going to bed so late recently and it's really throwing me off terribly. I may try the Pomodoro technique that worked well for me the other day after I picked up the idea here.

Good luck in all your endeavors.
