I just came across this today while I was uploading other phone pictures. I was trying to find it to show Amelia and Mom when they were here but failed.
This is a quote of Tom's on the hardback version of Nick Tapalansky's Awakening that we saw last time we were in Portland doing out annual Powell's trip.
Tom doesn't do any writing anymore, really; he's so incredibly busy all the time with his job. (More on that later...) But he was talking yesterday about how he'd like to return to some more self-motivated work, not just pouring all of his energy constantly into someone else's vision.
... and I was just getting used to that. I'll keep you updated.
