Here are more pictures of my time with the Parker and Perret children. These were from Thursday, our first day together as a little make-shift family.
I was so great. Four might just be the perfect number and, wouldn't you know it? Tom agrees.
Last night I luxuriated in my Lush Pop In The Bath bubble bar: part of a gift I was given in thanks for watching the kids. It was pretty fun sitting in pink scented bubbles, sipping sparkling water and listening to a book on tape. But honestly, I rarely have the patience for such things and am probably more contentedly occupied doing some chore while keeping my ears open for the sound of tears or fighting and even, occasionally, the sweet sound of kind words and laughter.
I look forward to having 1, 2 and 3 kids as well. And I am remembering to enjoy this time with just Tom and me (though it's more frequently just me).
But I'm still dreaming the dream, 'cause it's a good one.
