Hmmm... have I forgotten something in the excitement of seeing my wonderful family yesterday? 

Oh, that's right! I forgot to write a post to say: HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY, SCARLET ANNE!

I love you. I love that your hair hasn't change or grown since the day you were born. I love that you are such a ham and love the attention that we more than happily will lavish upon you your whole life! I love that you look just like your mother! (And a little like your father and your brother). I love the way you wear your clothes. I love the way you kiss my face. I love how sweet you are to everyone (especially your mommy and your daddy and your brothers) the way I know you'll always be. 

I miss you so much already, my little love, my little 1-year-old. Hap Birf Day.
