Day twenty

I would love to travel to Mongolia!

If you saw the wonderful movie Babies you'll see all of my reasons why. There is scene after scene of beautiful, sprawling country that is so like something I'm familiar with, but just a little different.

I love that aspect of the strange and alien. It awes me and impresses me with the vastness and wonder of a world I've see so little of. Everywhere is part of the same whole but different. And Mongolia seems to me exceptionally beautiful.

When I watch the movie I'm tempted to run around the windy hills, or ride a little motorcycle or horse. To be outdoors under the unending sky or cozy inside a yurt: heavenly.

Parts of Northern Europe (Iceland especially) are another option for the same reason.

There are place I would love for their culture, but I think I may pick nature over culture. I don't need a museum when I have landscape!
