This is actually perfect, or near perfect, because I have have been longing for a challenge after reading about several online since January, and I guess before. (Look here.) I feel like I could handle some intensity! Though, daily bible reading fizzled out... I think what I need is the accountability of the online community. In fact, if this works out I think I will take my bible-reading accountability to 'the net' in some kind of challenge format to give me a good running start. I would love to be devote enough to do it without a "challenge", of course, but I don't want to fool myself or sweep my struggles under a rug. This is a blog after all, I gotta let it all hang out.
The really great thing about this challenge is that I need some help with my blog during finals week. I keep sitting down to write; getting overwhelmed about what I should be doing instead; wanting to write about finals which is boring to read (and to write); and then feeling bad about not keeping up... And not having any appropriate pictures to post, or pictures period.
Plus this challenge is so hilariously inappropriate for me, and reminds me of my freshman year at college (when Facebook was young), that I hope it will inspire me to be a little creative. I mean, did you see Day 10? What does that even mean?!
Alright. I am so excited to say that I am going to post Day 1, turn on some hilarious show I've seen already and vacuum the carpets and intermittently enjoy the sounds of cars splashing down the roads and the gray light coming through the windows. When I am done with that Tom will be home, from a very early shift, for an afternoon nap. And I will either join him or be good and study.
And it will be wonderful...
