Mmm, mmm, good!

We got a surprise Christmas gift today! Though, I guess it shouldn't have been too much of a surprise since they are very generous, gift-giving friends whose previous gift of homemade ornaments are hanging on our door again this year.

These are baking now...

These will be eaten in the car on the way to Mom's house...

And the rest, the tea, the jam, etc., will be enjoyed for much longer.

The visit also involved big hugs from sweet babies. It was sunny out today and I opened all the windows to let in the warm breeze. It doesn't feel too much like Christmas in the weather but it's Christmas in my heart!
